Cardinals QB Kyler Murray

On how he feels after the hit he took at the end of the game:

“That last one? I feel fine.”

On his takeaways from the game:

“I thought we just had a couple negative plays, a couple negative plays offensively. Other than that, I think we moved the ball well. I think we executed at a pretty high rate tonight, just a lot of penalties, two turnovers, conversions on fourth down. I’m proud of the way the guys fought. Obviously, we lost. Everybody wanted to win. It was a big night, a big game for us, but I’m not discouraged by tonight.”

On RB James Connor’s performance:

“Yeah, he’s a dog. Simple.”

On what happened on the last play of the game:

“It was miscommunication between me and the O-line. They thought it was spike, but it was just a heat-of-the-moment deal. I don’t even remember the call, what was being said in the helmet or anything like that.”

On how excited he is for the rest of the season:

“It’s all in front of us right now. The great thing about tonight is it was that atmosphere that you need and you want as a competitor. This was a big-time football game against a great team. They got the best of us tonight, but I know the guys in the locker room. We’ll be back for sure.”

On the feeling of not playing well at home:

“Like I said, a couple plays here and there. We fought. We were right there when we needed it, but we just didn’t make those big plays that we’ve been making. If we make those plays, it’s probably looking a little different. Like I said, hats off to them. They got us tonight.”

On if he liked the decision on the first interception he threw:

“Yeah, it would’ve been a touchdown. It was a touchdown, but it was a great play. He’s one of the best football players in the league, got his hands on it, interception.”

On the second interception:

“That’s on me. He made a great play too, but I’ll take credit for that one.”

On if he thought the first interception changed the momentum of the game:

“That’s a ‘what-if.’ Obviously, we can say that. Probably if we score a touchdown, yeah, it would’ve been different, but if we do a lot of other things differently, it would’ve been different. He made a great play.”

On if he is worried that the team is not playing its best football in December:

“No, I’m not worried about that at all.”

On how optimistic he was after the onside kick:

“I was really optimistic. Again, we shoot ourselves in the foot going backwards. I think it was a penalty or something, but like I said, I’m not too worried about tonight.”
